Brake Disc

The two-piece Textar brake discs each consist of a top hat and a friction ring, which are connected by means of rivets. By using aluminium for the top hat, weight savings of 15 – 20 percent can be achieved; by doing so, the so-called unsprung mass of the brake system is reduced.
